Are Grocery Stores Really Going To Charge For Plastic Bags?

Are grocery strores really going to start charging for the plastic bags to bag your purchases? I find this OUTRAGEOUS to say the least... I am all for going GREEN, but I refuse to bring 20 cloth bags to the grocery store to bag my purchases.
